With the former all-pro Carolina Panthers middle linebacker Luke Kuechly announcing his retirement last week at only 28 years old, University of Denver students are now starting to question what the future may look like for professional football.

DU students share their stories on sexual assault and demand change

Sexual assault is an issue that has had a global affect on people no matter their gender, age, or sexual orientation, and it is extremely prevalent on college campuses. Today, on average, 23 percent of women and 5.5 percent of men experience one form of sexual violence before graduation from college. 

With that, more than 90 percent of victims of sexual assault on a college campus will not report their attack. While 63.3 percent of men who reported doing acts qualifying as attempted rape or rape admitted to being repeat offenders, all showing how common sexual assault and harassment are on college campuses.

University of Denver (DU) students are split over political advertising as the 2020 election approaches. Political advertising has taken students by storm across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and every other social platform.

DU students agree with Denver County Judge Ruling that homeless should be allowed to camp on streets

Denver county judge Johnny C. Barajas recently ruled the City of Denver’s camping ban of 2012 unconstitutional deeming it “cruel and unusual punishment.” The camping ban prevents homeless from staying overnight on the streets in Denver and instead requires they sleep in shelters.
